What bushes?

Hi Guys,

I'm rebuilding my Luego and plan to replace all the suspension bushes as a matter of course. There seem to be loads on the market (Powerflex, Superflex etc.). Any recommendations on which are the best option and what grade/stiffness to use? I plan to use the car for fun road use and maybe the odd track day. Any advice gratefully received. Cheers, Pete

Which ever bushes you get make sure you get the correct length crush tube , stainless would be better. Might be worth measuring the bushes , the width of the suspension arm sleeves and the width of the wishbone mounting brackets . If you haven't seen the various posts on crush tubes it's well worth doing a search. I think there might be a post by Steve Lovelock about replacement bushes? Might be a good idea to post your findings when you do find some bushes?

Superpro, they have a bevelled edge which supposedly maintains rotation when worn.

OK, the parts are:

Superflex Ltd, 01749 678152

SF2043P-90 Top hat bush, kit car / hot rod £3.25
SF2043-42T 19x12x42mm stainless steel tube £5.50

I realise that this isn't cheap but my car has been transformed by fitting them.

Steve
