Hi

You only need to use a short oil filter usually to clear the fitting problems. £6 oil from us should give you enough clearance.

Also our GTS bodywork was designed over a Zetec, will fit a Luego Locost and Velocity and will give you the clearance you require without bumps and cut outs. You'll find this bodywork to be much more symmetrical than the normal Velocity bodywork and there are a range of products such as fancy dash boards etc, that are designed to interface with the GTS scuttle that gives a better final finish than normal.

Its cheaper than a Luego body kit as well.

Luego

Hi.

Is any one else getting bored of this blatant selling on a forum that is designed to help solve problems with builds?

Plus providing miss information to line ones own pocket!!!

Lets get back to what this forum is all about, and stop pushing a so-called manufacturers own product. Let it be unbiased and helpful information!

Best Regards To you all.

The Luego Team.

The Renault 5 Turbo oil filter fits the Zetec and is very short. I've used them to get 2.0 Zetec's to fit into mk2 XR2s.

The other trick would be using a 1.6 or 1.8 oil pump which don't have such long necks as the 2.0.

Danozeman, people have fitted zetecs in 'book' cars so there should be no trouble getting one in a Luego. I know Phil (i love speed :p) is using a zetec in his 11 (same chassis as the 7...) A zetec will be a bit more of a squeez than a pinto definately, but should be a better engine at the end of the day

Luego...You can push your product too, absolutly nothing stopping you.

Whats the mis-information? Its biased yes but whats wrong with it?

I think Darren is trying to offer an alternative source of parts. Which of course you are also more than welcome to do I would imagine.

Darrens post DOES offer one solution to Danozemans problem. Yours however does not .

Hi, if you have a look at the other thread that has been posted we are trying to determine what GRP he has! Then the correct resolve to his issue can be looked at.

Now surely that is a better way of dealing with a problem than blatantly trying to sell him something that he may not need!

zetec

I reckon luego product is fantastic and the team are always willing to help sort out any problem no matter how silly it may seem, keep up the good work. Zetec into velocity is no problem see my archive, and that is with twin 45 TB's
