Luego Open Day 16th April 2005

All of us at Luego would like to thank every one that came to our open day on Saturday the 16th April 2005. We had over 40 people turn up and sold 5 kits, plus introduced Lurgo to loads of potential customers.

Our demos were buzzing around Peterborough all day, taking smiling enthusiasts out for a spin.

The BBQ was burning bright and every one was tucking in.

Just to add to the excitement we installed a 5.7ltr Chevy V8 with a Getrac gearbox in our new Viento model the LV570. This car is a very exciting development, that has a totally re-designed chassis to allow the Chevy to fit with ease. The first glimpse of this car will be at Stoneliegh! Make sure you all come and see us on our stand.

Regards to you all, The Luego Team.

Coo... and I thought it was a customers car!.. I have a few shots of it as well.

The engine looked the Dogs Dangly Bits...
Cant wait to see the finished article.
Is there an appointment book for test drives / rides? If so put me down! (and my Nephew!!)

It was a great day, and nice social event.
Much enjoyed by us both. Its spurred me on with the Viento.
Thanks for your kind hospitality and the Viento ride.. The smooth ride, and it felt so stable on the road. Most impressed, and I just cant wait to finish mine.
See you all later.

I was going to come along and pick up the bits I ordered a few weeks ago...

Lucky I checked on Friday only to find none of it was ready!

Oh well, have to wait another week or so... i'm just pleased I didnt waste a trip up to come back empty handed.

yeahhh

i have also no idea what they do over there by luego, but they definilty do something....

i think they need more staff,

some can concentrate on orders and e-mail etc. others just build what they need to do and others do the new chevy thing..

i don't like talking bad about my own manufacture..(its feels like a bit of your own) but i also didn't liked the way

they handle small, maybe less interest things..

Soow i will keep it an Go go luego with the new chevy viento

BUT DON"T FORGET THE AFTER SALESSsss!!!

just selling 5 kits isn't the job, start counting your money when they all are statisfied...

Cheers,

TKS

p.s. someday i will drive down to you in my BEC Velocity and will eat the hole BBQ empty..

Oi... Get in the Queue for the barby, you are behind me... And I can eat a horse !!

They do great things at Luego, like GREAT Cofee, Hob Nobs, and Super Burgers!!.. No Onions, but some very very nice relish

Oh... and some nice cars / kits.

Just to make you fell a bit better, My stainless boot-lid panels were not ready either, and they placated my wrath... with those nice burgers

But would be nice to see your kit!.
See you there someday..

I also had a bit of a wait in recieving me chrome wishbones, but they were very helpful everytime i phoned them, it was the chroming firms delay and not Luego's!I have always had friendly dealings with them so far
I would also love to go to one of the open days up there but its about a 5-6 hour drive each way, little bit too far me thinks

I've had a few bits and pieces from Luego (before they moved, so quite a while ago) and was always impressed.

A few months ago, I decided to speed up my build and order their front wing stays.

Turned up in a couple of days.

Still great service in my book
