Engine´s for Velocity XT
i was wondering wich engines wuld fit easyly in the velocity XT?
and wich are easy to connect to a usable gearbox??
Std. Sierra..??
Zetec
Duratec?
Opel / Vauxhall xx??
4Age Toyota Corolla
any one more??

all of the above will fit, some may require an adapter bellhoousing, all of which are readily available..

adapter plates
i still don't have the answer of wich vauxhall to use?
from wich model is it? Vauxhall is in europe Opel..
Here there are a couple of models
- Corsa ''smalles
- Astra
- Vectra
- Omega ''station wagon..type
- Zafira ''multi wagon / space wagon
where do we all buy the adapter plate??
and wich gearbox is the best to use? from wich car / year??
maybe i switch to an Car engine instead of my bike power plant..
wich would be easier to install??

the vauxhall engine is from the astra gte in the uk (possibly kadett gte in europe?) the engine is the 2ltr 16x, 'Xe', also found in the
cavalier and calibra
bellhousing's are available from qed, sbd, rallynuts, yukspeed i the uk, around £170 mark + delievery these are all teh same item and bolt up
to a ford sierra type 9 5 speed gearbox, a standard xe should just about be ok but a tuned xe will need an uprated gearbox, such as quaife internals
etc

the most powerfull version of the car??
on the kadet with vent hole sin the bonnet the astra is the newcomer from the kadet also here in europe..

in the uk the cavalier model with the xe engine is a gsi, so could well be...
have a look on migweb.co.uk for piccies/discussion of road cars with the engines in...
