Actually - that is so COOL
Not something I would have (missus would stop me) but definately a nice piece of furniture/work of art. I think the missus has had enough of hearing,
seeing, breathing bloody cars - as she says!
What does she expect?

What a brilliant idea! (well, I did build the fozzmobiles engine on the lounge floor)
I was thinking of ideas to practice my newly acquired gas, mig skills on (soon tig, too..hopefully). The only thing I could think of was....ahem...
garden sculptures....until now!

The chair's Clarkson made?
He's never done 30minutes of graft in his life! Never mind a few hours making seats!
IMHO

I do this sort of thing on a smaller scale when I get bored....
Bookends from an old set of conrods...
Candle-holder from a load of valves and an old cam wheel....
I really need to bother myself to polish them up to a decent finish, but I cant be bothered!
I also have a few old 17" alloy wheels lying in the garage. I intend to make a coffee toable from one lying flat with a sheet of round glass on
it.
