type 2 gear box

does anybody make a gear box extension for the type 2 gear box like the westfield type 9 one? If not, what's the best way of getting the gear stick further back? It ends up right underneath my dash board at the moment on a luego locost. Thanks

Stick a type 9 in it and look and David Jenkins site for making a remote? There was a remote on Ebay last week for an older Ford box .

Nice mod david..

An easier way is to use the track control arm from ur doner... an old one. U simply weld that in place in the desired gearlever position, make a new gear lever from round bar and fit that.
Cut down the old gear lever and link the two together with flat bar or round bar.... hey presto.. perfect gear selection.

Hope u understand.. if not i have some photos of mine./
