Taper for front ball joint

I'm still try to reach the rolling chassis stage and i need to modify the taper on my sierra hubs to take the Maxi ball joint .

Popping to luego is not an option (450miles). Does anyone know where I can get a taper drill of the correct size, or how they dealt with the same problem?

I had the same problem.

Local engineering firms would do it but would need to construct a jig to hold the hub at the correct angle.

I was quoted £70 for the correct sized taper drill from a number of local suppliers.

In the end I went to Luego (260 mile round trip).

Probably the cheapest option would be to post to Luego and get them to do it.
