Thanks for the good wishes but it was a fail I'm afraid. The major fail was the emissions with a high Hydrocarbon reading (the SVA guy even
tested the car twice at the start and end of the 4 hrs). So after trying a different set of plugs this morning with no effect, it's got to go
back to the rolling road guy's.
Can I leagally drive it there to sort this out?
A few other bit's and bobs to do which I probably could have done there if it was not for the emissions as the guy really wanted to pass the
car. He even set my speedo up for me as it was way out.
Took a long drive home even though it was raining!!!
Can't wait to get it on the road now!!!

Not unless it is 'on the way' to the retest appointment
That must have been frustrating but at least you can sort out the other niggles before the retest.

You can legally drive it to a garage to have remedial MOT work done, as long as you're booked in for it.
