First real run

Took the Viento out tonight for just a few miles to see how it gos. It was a great evening , late sunshine and no wind.

WOW!!!! I have driven a few cars in my time but the accelaration is something else.

It pulls tremendously in third gear right from about 20mph upto about 90mph( got scared). It gets really strong about 45mph and just keeps going.
I had the chance to drive a ferrari 360 a few years back but i honestly think this is quicker in the 2nd and 3rd gears.

It will pull cleanly away in 4th with little clutch slip and just keeps going and gets up a real head of steam about 40mph in 4th.

I think i am really going to enjoy myself with this car.

And as a bonus it sound fantastic about 4000revs and howls through to 6000.

I understand that everybody on this site will experience the same feeling when they finally get their pride and joy on the road and it is definitely, definitely worth the wait.

More fine days please!!!!

If you want "unrelialble" , my first car was a MK3 Cortina, now that was unreliable.

Mind you there was the Lada estate.
