down link, how?

Hi all, the build is going well. Things done so far,
Brake lines
Pedal box
Tunnel,back and side pannels
Wishbones, suspension.
Im about to start the steering and as the title sugests how do i modify the sierra shaft to fit the smaller splines on the rack?
Do i need a special part from luego or can weld an escort uj to the sierra downlink?

If the splines are too small for the connector then you have the connector from a power steering rack and you need the conector from a manual rack. The down link will normally need extending anyway so you cut it in half, get a suitable length of tube and weld the three parts together. JD.
