Floor mounted pedal boxes, tips please.
Just retro fitting one of the OBP floor mounted pedal boxes and have been reading the luego velocity build manual for info on the fitment, in item
number 25 it mentions an optional double ended split nylon bush and spring for the clutch . Has anyone found a source for these items?
Any other hints and tips for the fitment of this box gratefully recieved
Andy

It was easy to fix on my Viento. I changed to a Hydraulic Clutch

this is something i keep meaning to fix on my build. Ended up buying a spring set from screwfix. Its still sat in the dinning room (and has for a
number of months).

why don't you do as I have done, that is to weld a piece of steel accross the frame drill and tap it for a 5 or 6mm bolt then weld a tag on the
back of the clutch pivot tube for the bolt to rest against, he presto and it's adjustable.
Pic attached of the throttle pedal on my OBP pedal set shows the same thing.

Not sure if the OBP pedal box has changed much (believe OBP is Grant from old Luego)
I bought a spring kit from Screwfix and a length of nylon tube from B&Q - tube snuggly fits in the hole through the chassis tube and the spring
just tensions the pedal to stop it flopping forward... works fine (except for cable snapping at the weekend - my fault though!).
I've got a MK2 Escort clutch cable fitted with a Type9 box - not sure if you've got the same set up.....
