What's Llandow like?
I'm looking for a cheap loud track day near the midlands. Sadly, there aren't any but Llandow isn't too far away. It looks just
like an oval with a kink in it. Is it any good?

It's quite (actually very) small but challenging to drive well all the same. While it's flat, there is one very off-camber corner and a
big-brake before the bus stop. You'll have no issues with noise which is a big plus!

How about Keevil or Hulavington? I have been to both, and I would say Keevil is the better of the two, but both were fantastic fun!

keevil and Hullavington are run by motorsports events and are only 100 dB(a)

A friend of mine has organised a trackday there on 31 Aug. There will be 2 bike groups and a car group. Cost will be £85. Places are limited to 10
cars on track.
Cheap enough for ya??

Cheap yes. Bad weekend though. I was thinking of joining the Dutton owners club track day in July.

Is a 100db too quiet? That is pretty bloody loud isn't it?

Llandow is very good - quite technical in places, greasy in some but not a lot of run off in many areas. Worth a visit!

Llandow can catch you out too....
...just ask TimC
How much damage ?
(not to his old MK mind - just in case the new owner is reading this )

The sooner you fall behind, the more time you'll have to catch up.

There are a few in car vids on youtube to give you an idea of the circuit. Just type in llandow and enjoy.

My car measures 100 - 101 dB on my noise meter, which is 5dB quieter than it was before I fitted the extra silencer.
