Looks like an easy repair to me as well, can't understand why the builder?/owner didn't keep it and fix it.

Unless her indoors went "told you they were bloody dangerous!"

Sh*t, i built that! poor girl

had to sell it about 3 months after i passed the sva to a fella from oop north, guess he had problems keeping it on the road!

Doesnt look like much damage tho, really weird seeing her again, i just want to make her all better!

what happens if it has been written off by the insurance company???

i know on a tintop you sometimes need a VIC check to get the logbook, would it be the same for a Kit?

you only need a vic test if it's cat c. A cat d can go back on the road without beeing checked

The offside rear wheel definitely looks askew in the third picture but if it's only wishbones it may be doable.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

It a Cat D, so no Vic check, just fix and go

The owner probaly just didn't want it fixed or fix it etc.

Defiantly needs someone to check her over with a tape measure first to see what's twisted, rear wheels angles worry me two (might be the photo though)...

I can't see anything alarming about the rear end...

looks like a matter of replacing one side fronmt suspension and your off...

At least it has had plastic or something taped over it to protect the inside. they must be looking after it waiting for a sale - I reckon on the road for £4500 ?? (if no other damage)

Yes, same rules apply, though the kit insurers could have a different policy on what kind of damage gets which catagorisation I suppose.

Though you could put a cat C or worse back on the road by using it as a donor and doing another SVA on a different chassis number. Very dodgy to reuse the chassis in those circumstances though.

I agree its sat like that due to being dragged or pushed into postion for the photo
