Deep Depression

Just needed to make myself feel better by telling everyone what a bad weekend I had in the garage! (The wife won't listen!) Basically trying to remake my engine mounts using bits of material around the garage. Things not quite going to plan and the weekend has been a washout. I suppose everone has had days like this.... There feel better already

Commiserations!

I can only recommend that you do what many have said on this forum - walk away from it, and try another day.

I bet you know more about what's required than when you started, so the next attempt should be far better!

It's one of the rare occassions when the answer to all your problems really does lie at the bottom of a beer glass!

it really depends on just how many glasses you've went through

It seemed like a 'relax, have a nice cold beer and plan the next phase of attack' situation, rather than a suidical spiral of depression.

That comes when it's time to tackle the wiring

D D

Have spent the last 4 weeks rebuilding my sons Toyota gt4, what a ba-tard, ready to throw a match on it. Should finish it next weekend with a bit of look.

ALL of my experiences in the garage on the car have been like that - until I took the car to someone who knows what they're doing. Get somebody to come over and at least look over your shoulder for moral support! You might not get anything big done, but you'll get a different perspective.
