First drive

Hi,

It doesn't make it up the path but I am delighted to get the wheels rolling. Just got to get the MSnSE sorted out now and I'll be off to SVA!

great achievement mate, i think the only reason why it didn't make it to the end of the path though is cuz you stalled it?

looks very nice to

keep up the good work

all the best

p.s after watching the video for the second time i noticed that you were struggling to get the car into gear and someone in the video said that the car didn't have enough power to get up the hill, just out of curiousity, is your clutch ok? i had a similar problem, when i took the car out for the first time i had plenty of revs but no power, i forgot to check the clutch when i put the engine and box together and i had to have everything back out again to replace the clutch as it was worped and pretty much knackered! but when i put a new clutch in i nearly crashed it at the end of the street!

Nice one steve. I think your car is a Kate Bush fan, ------- Im going up that hill!.

Seriously though, good one mate, just looks like the timing and fueling need a bit of tweeking as it just didn't want to pull under load.

Enjoy.

Bet the neighbours loved that?? Bit of tweaking to do but it might be worth getting the rest of the exhaust done first as it will make a difference to how it runs. Soon be getting the paperwork in for SVA? Looking good.
