Oxfordshire meet

Afternoon Ladies and Gents,

Yes I know tomorrow is technically the third Tuesday of the month and not the second but thought it was worth seeing if anybody fancied meeting up for a beer tomorrow night.

Rose Revived as usual? 7.00/7.30ish?

Mart.

Mart

Would love to - need to hear what you and Dan have been upto (with your cars!) over the winter.

Unfortunately I am already booked up for Tuesday. Such a hectic social calendar!!

We really should do an Oxfordshire hoon one weekend when the weather is a little more predictable. Who else is in Oxfordshire with a car on the road?

Mart

Hmm, well you know I've been building the V8 for about 6 years now.........

Well I bought Dan's old chassis off him just before Xmas to build a 2.0L Zetec for 'er indoors (she's been hooked ever since she went for a blat in yours and Dan's.) Don't laugh, but I'm hoping to have the Zetec on the road this summer!

'er indoors Zetec

Dan should be on the road sometime very soon.

And yep I agree, one weekend in the summer would be a good idea.

Cheers,

The other Mart.

Hi Chris,

Excellent. See you there.

Dan's up for it as well but he's working silly shifts this week (which involves him sleeping all day - no change there I hear you cry ) which is why I've assumed the massive responsibility of putting the post up!

Mart

Now that you are building 2, does that mean half the progress on each - or is the V8 wheelspinning, zero traction, plow-on understeer monster on hold?

(** only joking before I ignite the BEC/CEC/Zetec/V8 debate again **)
