Getting absolutely nowhere trying to find some on the web, everyone wants stupid money for them.
Half a mind to do some myself and stick them on the web for free just to pi$$ them all off

Just a thought, but have you thought about finding suitable photo's of the type you like and ...er... "reviewing" the design.
scaling is easy with trailers, so long as you know the wheel size.
Cheers
Chris
Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

I've had another thought.
Look at all the egg heads on here
Surely between us we could come up with a suitable design?
An open access, locostbuilders trailer!
Let's have your ideas/designs!
I'll work on something myself.
Cheers

sure i called them about two years ago and they didn't do it any more. Although the way the person spoke to me i suspect if i'd asked to
give them a thousand pounds for a wheel bolt they wouldn't do them.

yeah these are no doubt good trailers but more suited to being pulled by a van than a car.

Most trailer chassis are just flat frames, and to make up for the lack of strength in design,
are made of beefy sections. (rsa, rsc, box, thick folded sheet etc)
Isn't this against the Locost way? Shouldn't we be thinking space frame?
Couldn't we think lighter AND stronger?
I'm not very good at explaining in words so a quick drawing below shows what I mean.
30mm box would be plenty. (er, maybe?)
