Luego Banner Time, Again.
Just had a u2u from Rusty.
Any progress on the banner Clive ? Just googled banners and found a few promising places some will do artwork if needed. Really must find out how to
put in a link . Mel
So lets talk banner after a quick lesson.
From page that you want to put up link to, highlight address (right click works for me) and select copy.
Open Post & title it. Start text and get to where you want to put link.
Above box that you type into (formatting mode) left click 5th box (globe with link at bottom). In new box type name that you want to call link (link,
linky, linky link, click here, etc. etc.). Click OK.
In next box paste previously copied link (right click and paste option). Click ok.
Finish typing what ever into post and then post new topic or reply unless you want to preview first.
Anyway back to Banners. The original banner I'm sure that either big John or Mark took back with them. So any news on searching for them would
be appreciated.
I have now pictures or pdf's of the first one that we used.
Here is link to what was first decided

AND most recently
latest discussion (apart from this)
So Mark hows it going?
Also at the last ( I think ) show we discussed as to whether or not we should get a horizontal one made to attach across the front of the/a Gazebo.
What are peoples thoughts on this Idea. Please discuss at length (or not).
Over to you lads.
Enjoy.

IF I was clever, my car would be on the road, I would be a multi millionaire, I would have drop dead gorgeous babe(s) hanging off my arms, I would
probably be single AND the Luego enclaves at the shows would be the envy of everyone around because of the size of the party.
Ok so the Luego enclave is a DAMN fine group and I enjoy it immensely, maybe I got one thing right in my life. But it would be nothing without the
rest of you great folk.
Enjoy.

After last week's performance I wouldn't get me to design it or we'll be the Lego Owners Club...

Just sat here enjoying a bottle of red wine. What do people think otf this version. Possibly add a date in top right hand area to cover grass eg.
Established 2006 .
I am willing to get it made up locally if poeple can make some comments ideas or just say its Cr*p.

edit
I put Geoff's car in the prime position because it was the main inspiration during my build.

Ok Paul, I give up what did you do with your sample pictures.
Yes I agree that people ought to air their views about your suggestions. I was hopping to pass comment on them as well, but I was trying to let others
have more of a say. However your samples seem to have vanished.
I think that it might be a good idea to have a start date for our loose affiliation on the banner. What do others think.
Lucky blighter enjoying a bottle of wine, it will be Friday night before I dare touch alcohol..
Have a pleasant sup for me will you.

I liked the plain design with no cars on , looked a lot less fussy than the ones with cars on IMHO although I'm happy to go with any of them.

Well set atop a blue gazebo, it would certainly get noticed.
I kinda like that idea.

I like this one...
I have a reasonable size resolution but could do with a high res version of the Luego logo.
Will pop into a print shop on the way home from work and have a chat to them.

Yes I would go with that. If you are after a high res logo, email and u2u Ben Lord, I'm fairly sure he would be accommodating in view of what
we are trying to do. After all all we are wanting to do is really a bit of tasteful advertising.
