Does anyone know where I can get a kit (cables, ends etc) for making up throttle cables?

^^^^^ Worked for me too. You might need to file the bead at the end to fit your throttle linkage, but no worries and works smoothly.

agree, hein Gericke there universal clutch cable is 2.5mm Dia (so can be used for everythind ) on my car I've used these as handbreak cables, clutch cable and throttle cable. there about £3 of £4 check which one you buy as theres two types , you want the longest one and trim it back (loose nipple is in the kit!) also when you trim it back use a grinder not snips!
