rad tubes
jimbona2 - 16/2/08 at 03:55 PM

any ideas how the rad connects to the other bits?
got the longest tube connected to the expanision bottle, you can see the tube going off the pic..

not sure what the nearest socket connects to? Im guessing it connects to the engine but god knows how that gets there with the tubing I have!

got the silver pole, with two connectors but dont see why I need that, even if the angles of the tubing allowed it

any ideas much appreciated

thanks

The bottom hose should come from the water pump with a t in it from the expansion tank. and the top hose should come from the thermostat,.

This might help.

I would suggest that before you use the rad you return it to Tiger for a refund and use a Polo rad instead, The Tiger rads leak in no time at all.

Yes I think it should work, but you have another tube on the termostat, this little tube have to be connect to the heater radiator or used like a bypass (when engine is not hot), in other words you have to connect it to water inlet pump. Someone will correct me if I am wrong

I think Rudy is correct.
And his English is way better than my Italian
The other outlet on the alloy tube is for the heater which I assume you are not using.

ok great, cant wait to have a go at this now at the weekend..
any experience with what to use for the tube shown in this pic? i have the tubes that sit onto the sockets but any ideas what I should use to connect them with?
i have the tiger side exit pipe from tiger and the long aluminium pipe although i dont need either of them now...?

i suppose i could cut up the long aluminium pipe to size but just want your thoughts on it before I start cutting things to shreads..
