is it worth getting an aldon or lumenition dizz over the valencia one i have. or is it for squeezing every last hp out of the engine

Hi

For sure it's worth getting a electronic dizzy setup over the points setup.

There's the As you say Valencia ones and there's the ones from H&H abs Bestec who do the Valencia type with a better advance curve to suit the engines being used for racing.

I actually have an Aldon for sale in the for sale section right now Price £80 comes with coil and wiring loom Ie ready to bolt in and use.

Cheers Matt

is there a massive difference between the other ones over the valencia though

Hi

Depend on how you interpret MASSIVE. A aldon / H&H / Bestech will be a far better setup. But if only looking at a cooking engine then the Valencia would be fine. would Just lack the sparkle of the better advance curve And possibly have more play in the shaft than a new one.

if your current one has points, DEFINIELY change it. or better still, mega jolt

procomp - 7/3/09 at 12:46 PM

Hi

Don'T confuse things. There certainly NO mega jolt allowed in the regulations.

Cheers Matt

Sorry if that sounded a bit off. Just trying to keep the info regarding the regulations all straight.

Cheers Matt
