Chassis design, cost, size, donor axle etc. used.

That enough for you?

JoelP - 11/3/09 at 07:10 PM

the general difference is that rush's are made by dax, locosts are made by anyone.

Aah but Dax's can also be made by anyone...so long as they have paid for it
Dax is another kit car like MK, Robin Hood etc

speed (rush - geddit?)

the Dax is a development of a theme, proffessionaly welded etc produced on a jig all component to .00001 of a millimetre etc,. Slightly bigger and heavier than a Locost .

Locost will work out quids cheaper and depending on the quality of work put into it you could end up with an equaly nice if not better car see Fozzies masterpiece in Kitcar mag. Oh and I truly believe there is a difference in pride at what youve achieved if you can actually say I built that from scratch. Anyone can build a kit not everyone can make a Car

Hi

Well you certainly can not use the DAX chassis in the locost championship. Assuming thats why it's in 750 locost race issues section. However the DAX is able to race in the KIT car championship or RGB. As works DAX'S run by Andy sterling have run in both.

Cheers Matt
