I am currently building a locost but dont know which gear box to fit

I have a type 2 and a type 3 type gearboxs to choose from

not sure on the gear ratios both are 4 speed but the type 2 gearbox is shorter bellhousing than the type 3
this would allow the engine to be positioned further back with the type 2.

any comments please

We will assume it's for the 750Mc Locost championship as it's in the racing section.
