Can't believe I've had 62 viewings and nobody has wished me good luck, said I'll see you there or just slagged me off!!! Ah well, I've got some mates ( yes I have some!) coming with me so at least I'll have someone to talk to!!!!!!!!

Best wishes pumpers, I would be with you but dodgey engine & left hand in plaster will make me wait till next season

pumpers - 24/8/04 at 03:55 PM

tx Ernie, hope to see you next year. It's been a bit of a rush to get it done and ready for Sept but i think we've managed it!! just looking forward to the race now, hoping everything goes ok and the car is something like!!! pumpers.

Dickie, don't know which track version as I haven't got my details through yet. The playstation is getting a bit of a hammering learning both circuits!! where in aus are you, my dad lives out there near Sydney on the Murray river. great place! hope to see you at oulton. ( my allocated no is 63!!) pumpers.

I'm now in NZ, but was in Sydney.

TOCA 2 has both Oulton versions I think - but you will need the cheat mode for the international which we are doing this Sep. This can only be accessed by getting special tracks - or by using the cheat modes. Hunt the internet for the codes as I don't have them with me here...

pumpers - 25/8/04 at 11:46 AM

tx dickie, cheat mode on!!!! do you know if that fuel breather in my other post is ok?? if you don't which are you using?? It's the last thing i've got to get before the race (( I HOPE cos i'm well skint!!!) cheers. pumpers.

Completed my first race last weekend at Silverstone. I was surprised how much there was to do on the day and how quickly the day went.

Everybody in the pits were great and really friendly with good advice and Stuart James even lent me his strobe gun to set the timing.

TOP TIP: if you can think of a job that will need to be done before the race do it NOW while you have the chance.

pumpers - 2/9/04 at 09:06 AM

nice to hear everyone's friendly!! I think ( and HOPE) everythings done now!! how did you do in the race? and what were the scrutineers like? I've read the regs about ten thousand times and think everything complies!! not had chance to get it checked though!! just have to wait till sat!! gonna get there early so I've got chance to do everything!! ( including visiting the loo on a few occasions i imagine!!) pumpers.
