Come on then, who's doing what? I'll start:
New loom so I know what does what, and so it actually does what it's supposed to.
New fuel pipes (copper not rubber braided)
Maybe refresh the engine a bit with a mate so that I can actually keep up with the people in fron tof me when I'm in their tow, as I no longer
seem able to
And a new seat. My 2 pack foam creation has had its day. I would now like to be able to see the bonnet, nosecone, and both front wheels! I know,
sounds obvious, but I haven't been able to for 2 seasons!
It's all too quiet on this forum, and still almost 5 months to the next race (less karting of course)

well, not the locost series, but we're looking at a duratec engine for the sports 2000 pro series or a pinto into the old lola for class b sports
2000....
Ned.
GTS top wishbones, roll bar rear suports and retrim the interior. Just got a very good price on some blue perforated leather that matches the colour of the car, cheaper than vinyl from a bloke off Ebay. Might splash out on some 4 pot calipers...The list goes on...Those who say that getting the car on the road is only the beginning are spot on.
Quick rack
GTS top wish bones
grippy tyres
Suspension setup
Windscreen, wipers and washers
ngk plugs to replace the unipart ones I got off ebay for a quid - had a misfire last time out!
see if I can get all the antifreeze to stay in - I guess the hoses are still bedding in
Mark
Hi-all
Engine out
Fly wheel off lightened and balanced
head off 1.5mm skimmed off
new camshaft?
carbs set up when all done on a rolling road
Lots of fun next May for 6 months

My Class A Kitcar Has not sold, so out with the pinto (engine Forsale £800ono)and in with the zetec. Oh and developing my own car to gain homlogation for the 750mc kitcar championship.
Good luck Rob. Just make sure it's homologated for Locosts as well !!!!!
My winter plans are:
Get my mate's dad to rebuild my engine for next year since he actually knows which bit is which and where it goes - unlike me when i did it last
year...
Rebuild or replace my whiny gearbox. I will try and rebuild it first but i've never done it before so the backup plan is necessary.
Sort out my wiring. I have a rat's nest of wires, perhaps 30% of which are actually connected to anything useful. Sometimes get a nice tingle
when i sit in the seat though
Learn how to drive faster. I didn't achieve my aim of a top 10 finish in '04 so i need to get my arse in gear next season.

Well that's the engine, gearbox, rear axle and diff removed. A quick refresh of all the above, a new loom, and a new seat, and then I can put it all back together again :-(
i think over winter it could be out with the 2.0 pinto and in with the yamaha R1(hopefully)
