Hi near finished my westfield seiw for sprints and hillclimbs and was wondering what spring rates I should be going for car is fitted with a vauxhall
red top engine
Thanks in advanced
You'll need a very forgiving front end on the hills!
Do not set it up like a circuit racer!

Give Luke at playskool a buzz! He's running a supercharged duratec now and will have good ideas on sprint rates etc!
Also arb's too
use Mallock's spring stiffness analogy. It was explained very fully in Staniforth's race and rally source book.
big travel from jacked at no load on your springs down to loaded height. Compared to nearly no travel for a fully aero car like F1 and LMP1.
3" to 4" (70mm to 100mm) from fully loaded to jacked up and no load would be a rough target for a no aero competition car.
Is it "static deflection"?
