Hi guys,
Picking brains again. I'm sure this is probably old ground but haven't found a thread that gives me the answer.
I have a Zetec 1.8 from a 1998 Escort and am going to be mating it up with a type 9. I'm going to run it on nodiz and was hoping someone could
tell me what parts I need to also keep off the donor in the way of ecu, sensors, etc. so I don't find myself short once I get rid of the
donor.
Also is the water pump on this engine suitable to keep?
I've been offered a pair of weber 40s and a bell housing to suit.
I'm also on the lookout for a suitable inlet, plus recommendations as to clutch, flywheel, spigot, fork for racing.
Also looking for a Sierra column, Sierra driveshafts hubs and carriers for the rear, cortina uprights for the front, shocks, fuel tank suitable for
racing, header tank, catch can, escort quick rack, steering wheel and hub, master cut outs, team dynamics or compomotive Cxr 13" wheels, rad,
fan, Yokohama 48s... I'm sure there's more but it's quite a scary list now I've started working through it.. Chassis was the easy
bit lol
Hoping that might be able to source some of this through you guys.
Many Thanks in advance
Phil
I'm pretty certain a 1998 motor is going to need a catalytic converter to get through IVA.
It'll also probably need to be running fuel injection to pass emissions.

Thanks Paul
It's a late silvertop, building to use in 750mc Sports Specials so has to fit regs requiring carbs. May also use for the odd track day, but
won't be road registered.
Cheers
Phil
