my last race was 1974 in a Davrian, apart from that, the only time on a track was birthday treat Nigel Mansell single seater.
But now I'm back. Brand track day Very cold, yes but yesterday (my birthday remember) was brill, with all the other adjectives etc, the car ran perfectly to my suprise & I managed 50 laps, so here's looking forward to the 2005 season sitting at the rear of the grid & thanks to all who gave so mutch advice Ernie

Well done matey, have been watching your progress during the months and will look out for you at any of the meets i go to, i don't race but WAS building a racer for a friend t'ill he had to sell it

what car was that davrian you last raced ?

Davrian. kit car derived fron hilman imp built and designed by Adrian Evans who was based in Clapham Common. there is a web site. I built mine in 1972 and raced for 2years then kids & morgage came along, now free of both. wife has Tottenham season ticket & I have new car. If I can get to use picture posting I'll post some pics on site

sorry ernie , i mean do you have a chassis number and where you raced it etc - i think if you look at my avatar it has more than a passing resemblence .

did you race against bob jarvis and pat longhurst etc ?
