Is an handbrake reqiured For hillclimbs/sprints? Is they anything in the blue book?

Just thinking of the advantages such as a wider rear calliper choice as well as the weight saving.

Some roadgoing classes will require that the car is capable of passing an MOT and being in compliance with construction and use regs, therefore a proper mechanical handbrake may be required. However for modified, sports libre and racing car classes a handbrake is not required. You are not permitted to have adjustable bias brakes with the adjustment operable by the driver - oh and carbon disc brakes are outlawed
