Protech Shocks
Worzey - 6/4/10 at 01:52 PM

I've got 2 Gazz Shocks leaking on my Velocity.

I'm going to replace the lot with ProTech shocks but need to know exactly what to order.

Can anyone help with the specification I need to replace my current Gazz 180/090's?

All I know is they are 13", 1.9" springs with a 35mm bracket.

Try procomp, he's an agent for them and gets them properly valved for lightweight cars.

My experience is that the pro-tech guys are really helpful on the phone.

Deffo speak to Matt....

He's shockingly helpful when it comes to shocks and will do nothing to dampen your enthusiasm when it comes to dampers!

I SHALL NOW GET MY COAT!

Deffo talk to matt at procomp, this is where i got mine from.

However, basically what you need is:
- Open and Close lenght (these will be linked)
- Size of bolt/mounting used
- Spring rate wanted (and spring length to suit shock length)

Daniel,

Thats exactly what I want.

The question is can anyone tell me what they are - I've found the other details - its just these I need:

- Open and Close length
- Spring rate

Im pretty sure matt at procomp worked for old luego in peterborough so i will be giving him a call when i need my shocks, i reckon he must know what sizes etc you need, let us know how you get on though because i may have got my wires crossed and there may be more than one guy called matt in the kitcar scene
