hi guys has anyone gone from 17" 40s to 13" 60s or vice versa as thinking of changing from pretty 17" 40s to 13" 60s (r888) and wondering if it will be noticeable in terms of acceleration roughly 7% drop in overall circumerence or increase if you have gone the other way.....cheers in advance all comments welcomed...........

dropped from 15's to 13's, and the car came alive, best move ever especially if you use light 13's. everything feels quicker, acceleration, steering , braking.
Handling is super predictable on 13's even on the limit.
You won't regret the switch, do it, do it now!!

the weight reduction alone would make it sensible, apart from the acceleration you gain

my 13" minilites with yoko A048's weigh in at 13kg, 17" wheels and tires will likely be in the neighborhood of 20kg, so thats 28kg of unsprung rotating weight reduced

The tires are also a lot cheaper compared to 17"

Static here too.

Just make sure they fit over your brakes.
