MK Indy R hayabusa 2012 for sale....maybe
Davegtst - 28/10/13 at 12:07 PM

Ok I'm not 100% sure I want to sell this yet but I have just started a new 'hobby' that I really need a more practicable car.
I bought the kit from MK in June 2010 and got it IVAed and on the road in October 2012. It's registered as a Q plate which is great as it only has to have a visual smoke test at MOT time. It cost me an absolute fortune to make as I bought everything that I could new and the best spec I could get. I hate blowing my own trumpet but I can honestly say the quality is far better than anything that is factory built. It's only just been taxed and MOTed (DVLA insisting it needed one) and only costs me £160 to insure for the year. It is the fastest most exhilarating car I've ever driven.
I started adding up all the receipts but lost count at just over 14K! I really don't know what it's worth so I would be grateful if those who have sold similar cars could advise me.

Here's the spec, there is probably a few things I have forgotten.

I didn't realise I don't have many decent pictures of it. If anyone is interested I can get more photos.

I'm really not sure on price. It seems there are a few for sale at around 15 to 16 K at the moment but I probably wouldn't refuse a decent, serious offer.

After looking around it seems 14k is reasonable. Does this sound fair?
