Ive got a hole in my sump, dear liza!

Ive had a small leak in my shortened xflow sump for a while, so i thought today was the day to whip it off, find the hole and mig it up

firstly my mig, thats not been used in 10 years does not work very well, and secondly my welding of such thin material is crap and all ive done is blow more holes

so, whos got any brazing gear ?

I am in Crawley sussex, but i dont mind going out a bit to get the job done

Mig is not too good for welding oil tight items as the cold starts tend to weep. If you want to send it to me I can TIG it for you for a small fee if that is of any help (assuming there is some metal left to weld to of course!).

I have a shortened Black top sump and oil pipe for sale if you or anyone else needs it as well!

I can say that if Strontium Dog does your welding, it will be a quality job. Mine looks great!!!
