you know sometimes I just wander around in ebay seeing what nonsense is up for sale, now I’m a bit of a fan of the old startrek shows yes that's very sad but so is the missus so what the hell

1979~1980~Mego~Star~Trek~U.S.S.~ENTERPRISE~Bridge~Playset~Ship~Aliens~Crew~Movie

just came across this, now it’s a toy play enterprise deck, which to be honest looks a tacky as could be, I think I could have made something much more realistic myself not really trying hard. Not only that but it is for a movie that rivalled even 2001 space odyssey for just sheer mind numbing boredom i.e. it was just terrible, sorry but it was

But what I think is so mental about this is the damn thing is sealed in a plastic welded case! Eh?! So you can’t even touch the box far less find out if there’s anything even inside it, just madness...oh and the price is only £6,134.49!! feck

infact all the props including replicas are nuts prices, for a budget show...most the stuff was made of off cuts of wood and junk glued on, why the a replica suddenly costs 100x as much to buy as the original item cost to make or the show makes no sense at all

some very crazy folk out there

The advert doesn't really do it any favours though, I reckon he cut and pasted the same three lines about half a dozen times. Mind you, how much can you say about something that's sealed in a plastic box and cannot be opened?

Perhaps it comes with a free xray so you can verify it isn't just an empty box?

I offered him $1

Why does he keep quoting 85 Nm?? Where do you apply this torque?

I find the whole attitude very odd as well. These are toys for kids to play with, not items to remain sealed in their boxes for the rest of eternity to be fawned over by 40 year old Trekkies still living with their mum and dad
