Tiny Odyssey battery

Hi all,
Im looking at my boost hoses tomorrow, and realise that my battery is in the way of the inlet, and could really do with being smaller.
Can anyone recommend a smaller than normal high output battery?
I currently
have a halfrauds Calcium battery which has lasted the lay-up and taken its charge well. Its a really good battery, and has plenty of poke.
Im open to thinking about a pair of motorcycle batteries parralelled, though would prefer a single compact hi-output car battery.
Take a look at the Odyssey range - small enough to fit in really small spaces yet they pack enough poke to spin over a V8

Hee hee, I've been called worse 
I think my one cost about £60 five years ago but I don't think they are much more nowadays. I think they are surprisingly good batteries and many
people can't believe how much power they have in such a small package.

Ive got the powerVamp branded version of the above, aquired it with the car, but i carnt fault it.
Looks like a good deal for a 1 year old battery. Mine is 5 years old and still going strong - I keep it topped up on an Optimate charger and its as
happy as Larry. Good luck with the offer

Couple of things.
You don't want to be putting batteries in parallel. They don't like it, as tiny voltage fluctuations cause problems. I know you
aren't going to do this, but....
Second thing. For a charger (i.e. optimate or equivalent) you don't need anything as meaty as anderson plugs, as the current is not high from
most chargers. It is a good idea to install a plug/socket arrangement (rather than the croc clips). I would also recommend that you fit the socket in
the cabin so you don't have to open the bonnet (I fitted mine under the bonnet, but now its annoying to have to open that all the time).

batteries in parrallel are no problem
all large UPS systems, generators and Telecoms MTXs are full of them
All ordered. Won it for a £50 offer.
Hopefully itll be here for the next phase of starting and tuning with the boost hoses attached.
