NODIZ DIGITAL DASH FOR ANDROID PICS
mtechmatt - 18/10/12 at 08:37 AM

A few people have asked what to expect in terms of the NODIZ Pro Android app, well here are some pictures of it working. The speedo is based on the GPS, and the rest (RPM, Coolant, Load, MAT, and Advance) are all live feeds fromthe NODIZ. The refresh is incredibly fast, and being Bluetooth, means no wires, just jump in the car, stick the phone on the dash, launch the app, and off you go!

that looking pretty slick Matt.
Shame I need a non GPS speedo for my IVA. I've got my old HTC desire doing nothing now I've upgraded.
It will be fun to have a play with it.

Mike,

Will be offering a plug in daughter card that gives wheel based speed, Fuel level input and 3 other analouge inputs.

Good stuff!

You can pick up the cheap 7" tabs on ebay for around £60.

Finding one that you can read in sunlight though is another matter.

Look good to me, but don't you need a 'normal' speedo for any MOT?

So, why not just put all the other info on the display?

Also, you should edit your add

Hi,

Whats wrong with the add?

The dash was mainly designed for motorsport use, it is a 'bonus' to go with the main function of being an ignition controller...

Ah spelling

Then you don't need a speedo, just put revs as a band and digit's, then it would be ideal for road and track.

Speedo isn't needed for MOT as far as I remember. I imagine a secure method of recording mileage is more of a requirement for a range of official issues?

Chaps,

Have done just that, GPS s an option, or you can have it as RPM only. Also, the max revs shown now adjust according to the hard cut limiter set on the NODIZ, so in effect, you dont have all that wasted space 8-10k bit...
