Has anyone taken their Koso display apart yet to 'sandwich' it in the dash. It's a pretty thick unit and I obviously don't want it all on display, its either take it apart or recess it.

What has anyone else done to fit theirs.

I'm using a Car Builder Solutions fibreglass dash blank by the way.

I recessed mine. Tried to take it apart but didn't seem to easy so decided on the recess option.

same here tried it but ended up cutting my carbon dash very carefully, took ages to do but worth it as it turned out just right. mine stands proud about 5mm.
