I have bought an old Fisher Fury and have done nothing with it since.
A main bearing issue with my Fiesta ST has provided a Duratec engine ready for a rebuild or as a base for the engine swap.
I have a Type 9 V6 to bolt to it.
Now have a lightweight flywheel with AP organic clutch and a Raceline bellhousing.
I understand the Mondeo V6 hydraulic concentric clutch slave is the one to have can you confirm this with part number if you have one
I used a Titan motorsport one with a Saab thrust bearing
Have a look on rwd site linky
They have all the bits on there
Ouch £115
Looks similar to Mondeo one which is £22.50

Interesting point of view, there is not much to go wrong with a clutch slave and on my tin tops I use GSF for parts and they often recommend pattern
in place of oem stating there come from the same factory.
I’m a tight bugger but not averse to admitting my errors, so if it fails I’ll ket you know.
I’m fitting a quick release setup on the gearbox in case I need to whip the engine out

I must agree, most of the 'genuine' parts are bought in by the manufacturers, the same parts are available elsewhere in a different packet,
at a fraction of the price, they even have the same logo's cast or printed on. But on the other hand, you must be vigilant for rip-offs, a lot of
the good stuff is now being made in China, to correct spec., then copied by very dodgy factories using dodgy materials and then put in counterfeit
boxes.
It is getting scary out there !!
Fully agree.
I will be setting it up on the floor before it gets anywhere near the car
