We have quite a bit of furniture we need to get rid of out of the house... I swear we have 3 times as much furniture as we need!

Its worth a few quid so Freecycle is not really an option...Ebay is an option, but its so much hassle

Anyone got any good ideas of where to sell furniture? I just want it gone plus some beer notes in reality...

First thing would probably be to offer it for sale on here?

post it up on gumtree thats local to your location

local newspapers, loot, adtrader, vivastreet, postcard in local shops

I put ads in the local paper for three piece suite and a few other things. Got severalreplies and sold it to a couple buying stuff for their sone getting his first flat. Worth a try for a small cost (if, as you say, the stiff is worth a bit)

Ebay it.
- Two decent photos, few pence to list, collect only, cash on collect.
