I have found two sets of alloys for my plastic car. And several sets of tyres. The plan is to have one set for the very sticky track tyres and one set
for the roady-sticky tyres. Also, I have a Ford based Pick-up that is in need of wheels now I have lent the Revolutions to my chum (who has drilled
the stud holes the Gp4 size!!), so when not on the plastic car, a set will be on the Plastic Pick-up.
The question is.......
what colour?
I'm totally colour blind so I favour black. A local firm has quoted me £15 each wheel to do a flat black and £25 for any other colours they have
in stock. Another guy will blast the wheels for £5 each (bargain!)
Any thoughts are welcome. Even thoughts on the wheels..........
matt black is so the best colour for all wheels... imo
I agree with black too. All the best wheels are that colour (including mine) and everyone knows cars with black wheels are faster by at least a second a lap!!
Thats it then. I'm never washing my wheels again if they make the car faster when they are black Ore does brake dust not count?
Depends on the colour of the car I think.
But silver for me.
IMO...black is an awful colour for wheels...
But of course,..just IMO
Agree with silver being nice.
Black centres with a polished lip has my vote
Metallic gunmetal grey.....
Cheers for the replies folks. Tango orange it is then........
i have tango orange in mind for my lambretta (will look good with an orange frame and silver body panels)!!
went for black on my tin top and i think they look good...would do the same again on my next car
