Do i keep the 2.0 zetec flywheel or am i best using a 1.8 flywheel?

the 1.8 is smaller and lighter than the 2 litre one.

Yep, the 2.0 one weighs 9.9 kg. and the 1.8 weighs 8.7 kg.

But do you have to use a 1.8 or can you keep the 2.0 one and just take the extra 1.2 kg.? (When fitting a type 9 gearbox)

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy one from a 1.8 one instead of haveing a 2.0 one machined to reduce the weight?

Or get a CVH one, they're lighter than either (6kg IIRC)

either will work with type 9.

Any cvh one?
- Im considering a cvh to zetec conversion. Although the current flywheel is believed to be a fwd feista one and the ring gears a bit shocking.

How does that stand you up for clutch options? Currently running a cable operated setup.
