Can I race this set up?
I have a locost chassis (as of now, just the tub) and a zetec 2.0 blacktop (which I'm buying throttle bodies for in the next few days)
I looked at the 750mc regs for the kitcar championship and it seems the 2.0 zetec is not allowed in anything other then a westfield, and injection is
not allowed in any series save class D.
Now class D would let me run the 2.0, but I feel I would be at a massive power disadvantage to the other runners.
Can anyone suggest a championship for me? Or should I look for a different engine?
Thanks guys and girls!

From what i've seen, kitcar championship seems to be dieing, therefore if it was me, i'd put in a 1300 Xflow and race it in the locost
class

They are running the Kits with the GTs (mostly replicas) this year which might give you a better chance of racing someone. The obvious alternative is
Magnificent 7s where you have huge speed differentials ranging from Locost pace to almost Bikesports pace.
Interesting format though and good mins/£ ratio. My observations are
here.
Locosts also is an absolute A1-hoot!

That Mag7 Championships looks interesting. Have emails Peter French for some more info.
And the all comers looks good too! Will dig a little deeper!
Thanks guys!
