Rear panel & bulk heads
Can any one tell me what thickness plate to use on paneling out the rear as shown below
![](/galpreviews/3rear panel.JPG) ![Description](/gallery/3rear panel.JPG) Description
Also what thickness to use on the bulkhead where the foot pedals are
I presume that it should be quite substantial ie 2mm ?
Thanks

I used 1.5mm for everything, tunnel, bulkheads, floor, footwells ets. If building again I'd go for 1.0-1.2mm as it's easier to cut, bend
and saves a little weight.
Certainly for SVA there was no minimum thickness, not sure for IVA though.

With 2mm you could leave out the 25mm box chassis

I used 1.5 for both those areas, and unless your pedals are fixed to the bulkhead I see no reason for anything thicker. IMHO Ray
To make a car go faster, just add lightness. Colin Chapman - OR - fit a bigger engine. Chippy
