Is this filter hole too big?
Hi,
Does anyone know if this hole for my air filters is too big to pass scrutineering?

Bit late now!!
Do you mean SVA? If SVA then as long as theres a rubber strip round the edge of the fiberglass then it should be ok.

Hi depends on the scruitineer but they would not pass at a 750mc meeting for shure.
But may do at other events such as the barc or brdc.
Better to get it sorted that take the risk ect.

as the doughnut eater says, rubber strip - I have very similar, used the circular rubber edge strip that maplins usedto sell.
I would look atthe nuts on the air filter asthey may have radius issues - I stuck coke bottle top onto mine.
In theory the mesh and edges ofthefilter mya fail - don;t think the insepctor looked at mine so you are a bit in the lap of the gods.
if you get stuck, remove the filters and cover up the hole from the inside. I am sure the few tens of miles dirving to sva and back isnt going to
kill the engine driving filterless - unless you are extremely unlucky.
