Allcomers Series & New at racing
So..... I assumed that my car would never be eligable to enter any race event/series.....with the exception of the occational track day but thats not
really the same thing.
I happened to google what was on at brands this weekend after seeing a blue BEK on a trailor at the QE2 toll crossing when I happened to come across
the regs for the kit car and allcomers series. Well I can`t enter the kit car series, due to the power/weight ratio of my car and the brakes..... and
the wheels.....the list goes on
BUT..... I can enter the allcomers series..... in a nutshell it is unrestricted/2 seaters class.
So what do I need to go racing?
Race certs.
PPE gear
roll cage
catch tank
fire extingusher
....various body mods (painted tow hook, correctly secured filler cap)
electrical cut off
harnesses
????

Towing eyes
All the regulatory stickers/identifiers
Control tyre?
Luck?
Get the GoRace MSA starter pack and have ar ead of the blue book. It will give you all you need to know in addition to the series specific regs.

I think you got most of it.
Race License + 750MC membership
MSA Approved Helmet/Suit/Gloves/Boots/underwear
MSA approved roll cage
Catch tank (min size 2 ltrs I think)
Fire extingusher with driver and marshal cable pulls and location sticker
Tow straps
Secured filler cap and one-way valve in fuel tank breather
Electrical cut off (driver and marshal activation - mine's on the dash and that suffices) and location sticker
MSA Approved Harnesses
Rain Light mounted in the correct place
Transponder for timing
Novice cross sticker!
Tape on the headlights
A race number on nose and both sides

Thanks, I assume your number given when you register? Weeks/months before the actual event? ...... I`ve just downloaded the blue book so I`m having a
good read at the moment
