M50 manifold makes a big difference, also fitting a front strut brace ala z3m tightens the front nicely.

There are GRP ones available for £500. I'd consider it if I knew the Z3 was going to be a long-termer as it's a 25kg saving over the OE
one, but I'm not sure how long I'll be holding onto it for (you know me! ).

There is a modification, that I have done on E30's, that can be made to the inside rear trailing arm attachment that corrects camber if you go
down the lowering route. It involves excentric (?) 5 series 'bolts to allow fine adjustment.
Cheers.
I've seen them come and go on ebay between £150 and £300, but none have been local (and none have offered postage).

When you get round to driving the ZED, you must remember to fix the indicators.
In my experience, Beemers tend to have faulty switches.

This is technically inaccurate and a slight on the German Engineers who design the cars. I think you'll find all Bimmers fully equipped with
turn signal indicators and the means to control them. It's the operators that typically think they don't need to use them.
As with most issues - user error (or ignorance).
(Tongue in Cheek BTW before any Bimmer drivers get their Armani's in a twist)

The indicators work fine, it's just the dials that don't! Not knowing how fast your travelling can be interesting...

My cars don't need indicators... they arrive in my garage, but never leave in one piece!

I have seen that many Bimmers on the road that dont indicate, that I had just presumed it was a manufacturing fault.

yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
