that kid is awesome, i wish i had started learning when i was that young, he does quite a few covers and they are all really good for his ages but do
sound a little on the rusty side, but im still soooooo envious!

Fantastic, he plays better than some pro's i've played with
Its not just about starting young, he has a natural talent and feel for the guitar, he not only has technical ability but the emotion too! unusual for
one so young.
i'm off to bin my guitars now as after watching that there's no hope for me now
Just had a look at his myspace site...
http://www.myspace.com/jungsungha
"I had been watching my dad play the guitar for awhile before I finally jumped on it myself two years ago. I just turned eleven in September,
2007."
"I used to not have tabs for the music that I played in my videos. I just listen and pick them up directly from the sound source in videos
available on the internet."

There seems to be a lot of Asians that can play various instruments extaordinarily well.
Don't seem to be able to write a note of music between them though.
I've often wondered about that. Years ago I had a girlfriend (Irish, not asian)who could play all sorts of tricky piano stuff, but without the
music she was completely lost.

An excellent example of what I was saying earlier, there must be thousands of kids who can reel off the most amazing guitar (and other instrument)
solos.
But is it music? Does it pick you up and carry you along for a while? It doesn't me, and I love music. If music could be eaten I would be ten
times as fat as I already am.
I noticed with the young gentleman, that not only did he not write any of the pieces, they aren't his arrangements either.
Yes, of course he is talented, and I would love to be able to lay like that, only if I could I would either slow down a bit, or not worry that my
fingers were in exactly the right place like he does, you can hear slight hesitations all through the pieces as he gets his fingers into the next
positions
