can you book a retest,right after your

in oldham they encourage you to, you just book it at the desk.
Or you can call up, I called up a few days later.

what do you mean like the same day, i would assume that if you fail you just ring up and book another appointment

Some testers give you their mobile number, to cut out the lady on the desk.

when mine failed at chadderton the tester suggeted calling at the office while i was there so you can pick and choose a date appropriate to you,
rather than just being given a date

I booked mine on the same day no problem,got one for 1 week later.

It depends how busy they are.
My re-test was 3 days after my test.

I had the same option but elected to ring them instead as I was going to have to trawl round for a rolling road that could fit me in
first. They obviously got impatient and just sent me a letter with a date which was about 3 weeks after the original test. I think a lot of it will
depend on the number /significance of fails and the resulting retest appointment duration required. I think that they would fit in a 30 min retest
faster than they could slot in a 2 hour retest.
