Shift light setting for 99 R1 engine?
Hello all, just wondered what I should set the shift light I have just fitted to on the Mk Indy? It is running a 99 R1 engine.

Surely someone must know when peak power is delivered, think I may go for 11500rpm....

Around 10´500rpm....
Also depending on your intake and exhaust side how well it pulls att high rev´s.
An quick exercise at an rolling road would give the specifics for your set-up and also good info if the engine would like moore or less
fuel....rejetting and needle set-up...If it´s standard you would see aprox 120-127Hp´s on the wheels if everything is in order an not very muffled....
