Painting a Zetec Engine.

Just got hold of a replacement zetec engine, 2 litre mondeo engine, with alloy head.

Whilst its out, and stripped of manifolds, alternator etc, I want to clean it up, but without stipping it down further.

Whats the best stuff to paint the block and alloy with ?

Cheers

Good old "Engine Laquer" from any good motor factor.
